One of the best book out there and a great resource to learn piano chords. Half way through this book I was able to play over 20 melodies I was familiar with but had never been able to play on the piano until now. Recommended for those wanting to quickly get some melody out of playing chords without the tedious conventional way of learning the piano. Make Critical Care make sense

This book is spectacular. I studied far more from this book than my lecture notes or my textbooks during my critical care course and I consistently did better on tests than my classmates. This books breaks down everything from EKG interpretation to ABG's so clearly that you cannot get lost. These are very helpful tables of common medications that you will run into. Step by step procedures and diagrams of the equipment so you can really figure out how things work. I couldn't have passed critical care without it!

Not so good...

Arrived it perfect condition and shipping was quick. The text is easy to read and gives an overall picture of each organ system. It breaks it down into basic anatomy, common critical care meds, disease processes that are seen with that organ system and what to do when your patient is not doing so hot. Downside is that there is LOTS of errors in this book. I used it for my critical care class in nursing school and the teacher said she would never use it again because it was wrong or didn't cover important issues on many occasions.

This is the only novel written by the Australian ethnographic filmmaker T.G.H. Strehlow. It documents the last journey of his father, Carl Strehlow, which ended at a Central Australia hotel at Horshoe Bend. The text weaves Aranda Dreamtime legends with the thoughts and observations of a 14-year-old boy. It also gives rare insight into the workings of the Australian Lutheran Church in the early part of this century and records the harsh conditions encountered by the "bush folk" of the cattle stations in the centre of Australia at a time when there was only one car in the state. It is a story of love, courage, faith and despair that, at times, parallels Christ's journey to the cross.

AMAZING LIKE I KNEW IT WOULD BE

As always,I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was non stop action from that very first page. The fights gave me life because Tiaz and Kantrell deserved every bit of that ass whoopin from Chevy. As the story went on Tiaz and Threat just got more and more ruthless. They was on a mission and didn't care who they had to smash in the process. Threat was the true definition of LOYAL,he held down his boy til the end. My heart broke for Baby Wicked but it's part of the risk you take when living that life. Te'Qui definitely learned a hard lesson in that situation. The African brothers kinda threw me off at first,but they definitely tied into the story well. I love that Da'Nay isn't afraid to take risks and dare to be different in his books. And I'm beyond happy that Kantrell got what she deserved. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I'm never disappointed when it comes to a Tranay Adams novel. Can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve in book 3

Ok first off let me just say, I loved this book. It held me from beginning to end. Now, here's my issue. What the heck was on Tiaz mind??? I don't want to spoil the story but damn. He isn't the person I thought he was. Not disappointed, just very surprised. Tranay, I see your growth with every book you write. You are poised to be one of the greatest. Keep it up.

A Explosive Action Pack Read.

Author Tranay Adams has continued where he left off in Bury Me A G book 1 he has turned the heat all the way up in this installment. There is so much action going on with all the backstabbing, deceit and murders. The character Taz has turned into a complete psycho and then you have Wicked that also have a few loose screws and have your wondering what his sick mind going to do to Te'Qui. Then there is Boxy brothers that out to get revenge for there brother death. Then there is Savon who was set-up and is sitting in jail hoping his sister Chevy can get him a lawyer to get him out of jail. Then you have Chevy and Faison you don't know if Chevy was able to got Faison to the hospital in time to save his life. This author is a amazing storyteller and I expect in the future to see his books on the New York Times bestseller list. But until then I can't wait too see what happens in Bury Me A G 3. I recommend all of his books to everyone that like to be well entertain with a great read.

Rifle Reports is an ethnographic history of this extraordinary time as it was experienced on the outskirts of the nation among Karo Batak villagers in the rural highlands of North Sumatra. Based on extensive interviews and conversations with Karo veterans, Rifle Reports interweaves personal and family memories, songs and stories, memoirs and local histories, photographs and monuments, to trace the variously tangled and perhaps incompletely understood ways that Karo women and men contributed to the founding of the Indonesian nation. The routes they followed are divergent, difficult, sometimes wavering, and rarely obvious, but they are clearly marked with the signs of gender. This innovative historical study of nationalism and decolonization is an anthropological exploration of the gendering of wartime experience, as well as an inquiry into the work of storytelling as memory practice and ethnographic genre.

The hero of this saga is one who endures hardship, persecution, loneliness and tough labor. He is a great example of keeping a promise through personal sacrifice. The writing style is captivating and the story is touching. I'd like all my grandchildren to read it for their own good.

Easy Read, Good Story

My son read this Newbery Award book for a book report in his 6th grade class. I took turns reading it to him and found it an enchanting book. The main character was so transparent and in my eyes, a hero. He faced loss, rejection and loneliness, but had strong faith, integrity and ultimately, friendship and love. It is an easy read for adults and a good read for middle schoolers. For the most part, the chapters are short, helping to keep the interest of those who need encouragement as they read.

Better-than-average Newbery Honor Book

I consider the Newbery Medal to be a caution flag in children's literature. This book was more entertaining and less preachy than many Newbery books - perhaps because it is only an Honor book and not a Medal book?

Anyway, it has some Newbery must-themes:

1) religious equivalence between paganism and Christianity
2) undeserved suspicion/prejudice/gossip
3) innocents in peril
4) animism

Anyway, it's a good quick read for 4th graders. Some vocabulary includes: promptly, drowsy, abashed, anxiety. Also Siberian terms: Yakuts (tribe), Lamuts (tribe), yurta (hut), kuklianka (outer coat)...

Scarred Warrior is the fourth book in the Dark Warrior series. Authors Brenda Trim and Tami Julka are amazing writers in a number of ways, but it really shows in a series in the fact that you can read this book without reading the others and be fine. You will understand everything going on, but if you read them in order then you will have more of a dislike of the villains by the time you get to this book. This book is filled with magic and adventure, a good deal of fighting and sabotage. This is an excellent book and a great read. ~Reader's Favorite

Kadir gets his revenge on the Dark Warriors as he manages to get possession of their amulet that will unleash Lucifer himself! The Dark Warriors will face their biggest battle of all times as they try and stop Lucifer from unleashing Hell on Earth!

This was an absolutely amazing read! These girls managed to rock it again. The synopsis tells you what the book is about, so I will not. I have loved Gerrick from the beginning of this series. Shae is a perfect balance for him. All of our favorite characters play a role, along with the new who I'm sure we will love. This is release day (and no, I was not gifted a copy of this) and I finished it not because it was a quick read. I could not put it down! Action, adventure and a fast pace. Friendship, romance, love and sex. Shifters, vampires, dragons, witches and warriors. HEA for our main couple. Yes, lead in for the next book, this is a series. You will not be disappointed in this series. Two great authors created another world that you could lose yourself in.
