About the Author
Winnie Thuku was born and raised up in Kabete, Kenya. She is a Kenyan author and motivational speaker. She studied Accounting in Strathmore University and also has a degree in Business Adminstration, Marketing option from Kenya Methodist University. She has previously worked in various fresh produce export companies, but gave up her career to become a fulltime author and motivational speaker with 3 books already in the market. Now an icon of hope to many people, she helps women go through life's challenges and also speaks to young people mostly in schools and churches. She is married to Peter Craig Lowry, an australian, and they currently live in Nairobi, Kenya.

Excellent book

This is a must read book!! A true reflection of tough people lasting through tough times. It is a clear indication of the strenght of roots. If a tree cutter cuts off all the branches of a tree as long as the roots have not been touched, the tree will surely blossom again. Winnie may have had all her branches cut off but her roots were intact and therefore was able to turn her mourning into dancing.
Would recommendation this book to everyone especially anyone going through tough situations, for those who are not you might need it for a friend or family member you know that would need it.

I love this book It gives the reader a chance to reflect on their own life and to relate to the Author in her troubles and ultimate triumph... Any reader will come away from this book with a renewed faith in their Lord and in them self as a Daughter or Son of the living God.
